Headers touching OEM spark plug boots

Headers touching OEM spark plug boots On my C3 LS1 conversion, Im using C5 Corvette shorty headers to mate up to my original exhaust. The problem is the headers are touching a couple of the GM plug boots.
Is there a specific plug wire set that has angled plug boots that are designed to clear headers??
It sounds like the MSD may have a boot that you can shape to angle as you need it?
Searching has not shown any clear info on this.

you can get kevlar boot protectors on ebay for a few $ each and only put them on the ones that need it
I have msd wires but a couple still barely touch my headers so the boots give me piece of mind
been on there for about a year and they have discolored but not burned through
