I agree that over is the way to go. Removing the exhaust to work on the car with the suspension unloaded is not worth the slight if any money difference you experience.

Its not as hard as it may seem, just another added step. I recently did my brakes, and all I did was slide my jack under my rear bumper to lift from the rear end. If I would have had a 3 bolt flange welded on at the time, I could have just undone them and thats it. Either way its a nice option to have if the shop is going to f*ck you if you want to go over.

I've done both, and over the axle has treated me much better.

yeah good call.

I was going to go under the axle for the longest because I feared that over the axle would be alot more.

I finally said **** it let's just go over, and when I got the price I was ******* glad to pay that price.

How much roughly was it for you to go over the axle?

if you are worried about clearance running duals to a 2 in/2 out muffler in the stock location should provide a little more clearance. 2.5 duals will work just fine for you

That last picture looks like the piping is touching the driveshaft, but I'm sure it ain't. Did they do that for clearance?

Ya, its just I have the T/A and it has the spots in the bumper where the tips go. And I think it would look a little naked with it just being dumped. I have thought of that though. Thanks

No its not touching the driveshaft. Just looks like it in picture. I originally wanted under the axle but the guy doing it is a real perfectionist and said it looked bad when he fabed it up so I told him then just do it over the axle.

I just talked to an exhaust shop here in Manhattan, KS and he said that there is no way possible you can go over the axle. I sat there and laughed in is face and told him he didn't know what he was talking bout. That I had seen it done before and walked out. Real dumbass he was. Guess its time to go to my home town and see if they will do it.
