It more like 25lbs, but just do what I did, empty and remove the windshield washer reservoir. That should get rid of most of the weight difference over a composite intake.
Also you can get the BBK for $400 new, or you could go with the Weiand ($400 new), but it only accepts a factory sized TB. The BBk accepts up to a 85mmTB. And the BBK weighs a little less.

if your worried about weight just get the fast intake or even the ls6, i have the fast 90 on my car with a 150 shot, make sure you get all the safety items for the n20 and you'll be ok
