Question which header stays cooler stainless or Jet Hot?

I have heard that the Jet Hot coated (1700 degree) headers stay cooler than stainless.
Anyone have an opinion?
Thanks

I am thinking about a set of Pacesetter headers that are Jet Hot coated inside and out. This will make a big difference in temperature I have read.

That is what I heard that the Jet Hot 1700 extreme sterling coating emits less engine heat than stainless. This is important if you are going rounds at the track.

I know this will start $hit but I have stainless and I wrapped mine. They say it makes them wear fast and isn't good for them. But it's my money.

I am with you, it is "MY MONEY" and I spend it how I want.

I have had 3 different set ups.
1st was mild steel with jet hot coating - hot but not unbearable hot.
2nd was just stainless - unbearable hot to me, had parts start to melt in heavy traffic and forced me to have them coated, I started to get worried about the fuel lines.
3rd is stainless with jet hot coating - seems to be lower than the mild steel with jet hot coating and no more issues with melting parts.

That's the info that I was looking for..Jet Hot extreme sterling (not ceramic) coated Pacesetters run cooler.
