Yeah....? Not every car picks up a ton of power with a cutout. Sorry, I was just posting my results with my car from one pull with it open on the dyno while it was getting tuned.

That sounds great bro. If all you are looking for is the extra few ponies at the track then go for it. Some cars don't make **** with a cutout just so you will know. I'd hate to see you waste 150 bux after install to gain nothing. What mufflers did you have on your duals btw? That plays a huge roll in the sound.

I picked up 5 hp with mine. I think it sounds amazing with the cutouts opened up just a little bit and it sounds crazy at WOT!

I made 390 through my stock cat back(it does have headers and a custon Y pipe)

Opened my dual cut outs(1 on each side)

then made 410.

You pick up some, but it's all in the peak.

I notice some low end torque loss with it open. You can feel the lack of backpressure.

I'd like to see a comparison on a y-pipe cutout with a aftermarket y and a y pipe with a flowmaster merge. I bet the flowmaster is better due to the scavenging effects.

Cutouts are really just a fun noisemaker IMHO.

And you'll miss out on my blower whine with it open. I like how mine sounds just cracked a little bit.

The AFR read different with the cutout open since the wideband was in the tail pipe. I did add a few degrees of timing but I don't think it made that much differnce. At the track I always gain a solid 1.5-2 mph with my cutout open vs closed. That is with a custom 3" y pipe into a 3.5" flowmaster merge into a 3.5" cutout and than back through the factory slp dual dual.
