Default HELP LT Pacesetter Header install stuck on drivers side

I am stuck on getting the driverside Pacesetter header installed on my 99 firebird ls1. For the life of me i can not get it to slide in. I have been working on it for about 2 hours now and cant get it in. It is hitting the firewall pretty bad and looks like i cannot massage the firewall enough to get it to slide in. I even tried from the top as a last resort. I can possibly see how i am saposed to get this in. I am really stuck here guys i dont have the tools to be cutting into the K member. Any help would be appreciated.

Take off the steering shaft and your headers will slide right in. Have you taken it off yet? It takes like 5 minutes to take it off and another 5 to put it back on after the headers slide in.

Edit* Just took a pic of it, I think its actually called the steering knuckle.

Theres a bolt at each end of that steering shaft. Loosen those and it just slides off. Installation is reverse.

+1 And I'm glad my video could help you. Let us know when you finish your headers.
