Question Lightweight (thin wall) Exhaust Pipe Piping?

I am looking at getting thin wall piping for the custom catback I am doing. It does not need to be stainless as I dont have salt where I live. If anyone knows where to buy it or if exhaust shops carry it that would be helpful. Perhaps thin aluminum pipe (dont know if it is an option or feasible but thought I would ask) Reason for this is weight reduction.

I am trying to keep it economical so titanium pipe is out.

I have been doing a little research and it seems possible to do an exhaust from the stock y-pipe to the rear bumper in aluminum and not see deformation or cracking as the pipe is far enough from the headers??? I would think the stock cats would hold a lot of the heat so the rear portion being made of aluminum would survive but I don't know. I would try to get a one piece slip fit (for the connector to the stock y-pipe) and one bend for over the axle. anyone try this or know womeone who did and what the longevity/ weight savings were?
