Default Removing Egr

Guys I sent out my cars computer to get a mail order tune from Frost. I told him to delete my egr system on my car. Now if the egr system is still hooked up when I re install my computer will it even function? How easy is the removal? And what do I do with the electrical connection that hooks up to the egr?

very easy to remove, here you go:

you can just leave the electrical connection hanging and get a block-off plate to put on the passenger side manifold

You can cut the wires off the connection for the egr valve and tape them up in the harness. I made some block off plates for the exhaust manifolds (I took all the air pump stuff off too),you can use an expansion plug in the intake. It won't function if you leave it hooked up.

To block off the exhaust manifold connection to the egr, do you get it from up top or from below? That connection looks though with my hands.

mine was just bolted to a pipe and flange, coming out of the front of the pass side exhaust manifold.

I have long tube headers on my car, so the egr connection isnt where all other egrs hook up on stock exhaust manifolds. Mine was on the passenger side towards the back. I have busted knuckles and blood on my hands, but I did her.
