Default What are the best headers?

I decided to try this. Lets say that we are looking for power, not cost. Why do you prefer this header over others? Also consider tube design, tube size availibilty, tube length, collector designs, etc.

Others - custom built for your specific application based your engine combonation. Not cheap but that will get the best results.

for off the shelf heads the Kooks & G-han's seem to do very well. The Hooker/Jet Hot design is good too.

How can you tell without testing all of them against each other? This is really more like a "What headers do I own" poll. There are so many variables that you cant just say one is better than the other.

Hookers are the **** but the coating sucks, you can get Jet-hots which are hookers with that kickass sterling coating.

Yeah Bain its prolly gunna be a while until I actually buy some b/c I really wanna go as fast as most header cars with manifolds and eventually run in the 10's with stock internals on nitrous without headers.

I voted for the thunder racing headers, which I use on my car. I think they are very nice headers. IMO, they are made better than the hookers.

why what does that prove?

or is it for restrictions in a certain race class?

Im with Ozz, I really like my FLP for the converters and the way they fit but I have had mine for 5 years now and they didn't make alot of these brands then. If I was going to buy a set now it would be either the Kooks or FLP.
