Default What bolt on should I buy next?

Hey guys, got a couple questions for ya.
I'm 19, own a 01 SS, I'm somewhat on a limited budget and also have warrenty on my car until 2006, so obviously I can only do bolt ons. So with that said, I'll tell you what mods I have so far. I have a TSP Smoked Lid, SLP Bellows, BMR STB, Lou's Short stick, I have ordered the GMMG Chambered exhaust, and was wondering what else I COULD do that would be a good mod that wouldn't void warrenty. I was thinking headers, but I don't know what would void and what wouldn't...... By the way I live in Canada so the warrenty is different then you US guys.

Thanks for the help....

maybe some 4.10s???? I dont know but those SHOULDNT void the warranty...
Also You'll see a ton of performance out of a set of drag radials and those are as bolt-on as you can get.

Ryan, The SS's run great right out of the box so I would do suspension mods first, here's what I have . Bilstien shocks, BMR PHR, tubular LCA, front and rear sway bars with there poly-end links, as far as SFC go I would suggest SLP's bolt-on's.

why front sway bar? they come with 32 mm stock? it has the same spring rate at the 35mm just the 35's are lighter. i would definatly do the 21mm rear bar, control arms, all poly bushings, torque arm, panhard, sub frame connectors. there is a lot to do on the suspension, nothing but the aarms are stock on mine

I say some weld-on SFC's. I have BMR tubulars and they are great. Should be the first mod for all these cars (other than a lid).

Will SFC's void warrenty? I can't imagine they would, but I'm not sure.

If you go with weld-on's they may void your corrosion warranty in that area, the bolt-on's won't void any warranty. BTW, where in Canada do you live?

Yah, you could try headers. That's probably what I would do next.

Like said above with the suspension stuff. But I'de go with weld ons, that shouldn't bother the warranty a bit.

BUT if you want a performance mod get a Predator programmer. Its the closest thing you can get to LS1 edit and there really isn't much difference as far as what you can do with it.

Headers are a good idea. I was also thinking 4.10's or a Pro 5.0 to compliment the
LSS. Drag radials also help you hook up a lot better.

Ya I have the stock Hurst with the Lou's Short Stick....... I love it........ the throws are the smallest of them all.

What's the difference between the Predator Programmer and the LS1 Edit?? Price? Don't they basically do the same thing? I'm not sure I've never really read up on them.

yeah they are the same pretty much just the predator u have someone else tune it for you. edit is good if u have time to learn how to do it all but if u dont know much or wanna learn get predator its real easy and just as good. i have it and love it to death and would buy it again. i would wait to get that until they get the new one with loging though

Drag Radials

Then i'd ditch the Hurst and go with a Pro 5.0, subframe connectors and lower control arms. That should be a great setup for the street and the track.
