Default Valve covers? Help!

I recently bought a set of fabricated aluminum valve covers at a swap meet, after I got them home and began comparing them to the stockers I noticed the stock covers have vacuum lines running to them ( from the TB and back of the intake). The new covers dont have ports for this. Will this cause a problem? If so, how can I fix it?

You need to plumb in the motor venting somehow. Motor needs to breath.

drill/tap/weld for -AN lines and run to a catch can

or run a breather cap on the one valve cover as well as tapping the otherside for a vent

Hmm. let me know what you do. i may have the same problem soon. if i do i was also thinking of just drilling a hole and welding in a fitting for the hose to go to..

i was thinking about doing one where it it thredded so just drill the hole big enough and put a nut on the inside.. but that could go very wrong if it came loose.. weld in would be the safer bet.

Ok. It may be a while before I do it, but I'll take alot of pics. I dont know why they dont put some sort of fitting on it. Thats what I get for being cheap.

If you have a vent anywhere, remove PCV altogether and cap any ports on your intake.
