glad someone is actually gonna test a 102mm intake with a 102mm tb not a 102 with a 90mm tb that seems stupid to me unless your broke and plan on getting a bigger tb later

also is there any cars that are cam only with a 90/90 or 92/92 your gonna test it on?

Reposting what I said in another thread:

Thank god, I'm really looking to buy a Fast soon. The main comparison I'm looking for would be:
Same TB on both (90 or 92)
Ported 92 vs. Unported 102.

-This would be the most apples-to-apples as ported 92s are selling for so much cheaper (899 New @ Vengeance) with the 102 out.
-Also, keeping the same TB is a better comparison of just the two manifolds, as most people don't fork out the cash for the TB right off the bat, and I don't think I am going to either.
-Lastly, porters haven't been having much luck lately porting the 102s, so it would be interesting to see if the 92 is better simply for its potential.

I would like to see you shorten the runners to see how high it will peak. My 90 gives up at 6400. 6800 and keep most of the low end would be great

I think you guys are being too optimistic. I would love to be surprised but feel will be little if any gains over the 92 setup.

I've read that its compatable with 90 and 92mm TBs. What about injectors and fuel rails? If you have an LS1 with the 90mm is it just a swap out of intakes to go with the 102mm?

I hear ya man, and I think the same thing especially when talking about a fast 92 thats been openend to 95mm's and has a 95mm tb already. '

However the inner design is supposed to be better, so we'll just have to wait and see.

Can't wait to see those results Ron !! Make it happen.

One thing that I'm worried about is that because of the runners being separate, you won't be able to get inside them as easily as with the old Fasts, and you won't be able to port-match to the heads. This might be a major downside.

I wonder if you can use the extrude honing on these, that would fix the issue I would think.
