Catch Can
Catch Can Guys does this look setup correctly? This Revextreme can has a built in pcv valve on the side. I took the factory pcv valve off the car and hooked up the side hose directly to the intake manifold connection.
im not that familiar with the catch can setups.... but I would think they would work better if the inlet to the catch can was lower than PCV vavle i.e. the feed line sloped into the can. maybe it doesnt matter with how much vacuum the motor pulls
Holy crap that's a big *** can!!! Just a question, but is it really necessary to have a catch can the size of what looks like a 2 liter soda?? Maybe I just don't understand something. Sorry to hijack your thread op...

No offense taken. What I've heard, learned, and somewhat believe is that the bigger the catch can, the more it catches because the amount of surface area inside the can. Think about it. If you had a catch can the size of a pop can, do you think it would catch as much vapor, oil, etc as the size of this can? Maybe its all false.

I have it mounted in the wrong hole on the head. I wanted to see if my hood will close with it mounted that high. Its much easier to empty the can with it in this position. Its hard to get to when its mounted in the lower hole on the head.
