Default SVO red top injector?

I traded a LS3 intake I ended up not needing, for an LS6 with ported TB and red SVO injectors. I was told they were 36#, but through some searching here, I see they are corrected to that rating at our fuel pressure. I am building a 346 and hope to be pushing close to 500 rwhp, are these going to be enough?

Should I go with the 42's right off the bat, or get the car to the tuner and see what he recommends?

Based on where my car was w/ red tops & RWHP, they're gonna be maxed or above @ 500 RWHP. Yes, start w/42# injectors.

Im at 400 and I believe my reds are at around 80% or so. Looks like they are perfect for cam only cars IMO.

Depending on condition and whether they are flow matched or not I would say $100-$150

Is there a way to determine by visual inspection whether a set is flow matched?

nope... they would have to be tested... usually when you buy new injectors they will send you a copy of the flowsheet... once they are used there's no way to tell unless you have them tested again which would cost more money... chances are if you're car is running good then they are fine

That is interesting, your set up looks close to what I'm building at a glance. Thank you.

I am curious as to how much hp the factory fuel system will support, with the 42lb injectors?

Can't give you an exact number, but over 500 whp. Make sure to add a nice fuel pump to the mix. I recommend Racetronix.

Interesting. I might just run what I have, and adjust if required. I have a lot of parts that I've acquired because of the "while I'm at it syndrome" lol. Thank you all.

Sorry to jack the thread but I will be running something in the 412-418ci range with LS3/l92 and MS4 cam. Will the 42's fit my build.

I have also been trying to find info on which is the best injector for the money. What would you guys suggest? thank you.
