Nope, if your engine is running now, leave them alone.

Id be interested to learn the logic behind this statement, im in no way saying its false. I just like to learn and am curious how a possibly stronger ignition coil could help a cam surge issue...I thought cam surge was caused by airflow intake readings,the mph,the gear your in at the time and what the computer is seeing at a givin time,etc..... take me to school

The round Truck Coils are supposed to have a little more kick to them..there is a thread on here about it.

I'm running them on my car, I got them from the Junk Yard for $100.

+++++++++++++++ I agree

Years ago I used to run a track car and there was a guy that always set up next to me in the pits. We became friends and we would talk about things between rounds. I once asked him if i had enough spark energy. He replied ( at what rpm do you trap) I told him 9600 RPM'S. He then asked me does the engins misfire. I replied NO. Then he replied (then you have enough spark). The person that i had that conversation with was BILL JENKINS. Hope this helps TOM
