Question Weiand Lingenfelter Intake

This intake has been ported and polished. Inside I see what looks like a small hole-it is circled in red. Is this hole suppose to be there or is it a defect? Just won this on ebay, but just noticed this. Thanks for the help.

I have not paid yet and caught this auction in its final minutes. I am waiting on the seller to respond to my questions before I pay.

Looks like it might be an easy fix if thats the only problem.

It looks like it was ground down too far but that is alot of metal to grind away. How could it be fixed?

Have it welded up.

Hopefully this guy will be honest with me and this is the only problem. It was supposedly ported and polished by Extrude Hone who I guess does this professionally.

it wouldn't be too hard for a shop to weld up

Extrude Hone doesn't port in the sense everyone here thinks.

http://www.extrudehone.com/polish_su...h_surface.html

I don't see either of those processes causing a hole like that, which leads me to believe someone else has had a hand in it.

Well, we got it worked out and it was a hole. I am not buying it and he is going to fix it and relist it. Thanks
