bringing this back from the dead....i have a 96mm ls2 style typhoon. i havnt had a chance to install it yet but one thing that im trying to figure out right now is 1) the map sensor is located on the front of the intake instead of the rear like a standard ls1 so im not sure if this will cause problems with the computer not reading the map sensor correctly, and 2) there are vacuum lines located on the back of the engine which would normally be attached to a nipple on the back of standard ls1 intakes but this ls2 from typhoon has no provisions for it and i have a thread up asking about my problems and what have people done to overcome this issue. but other then that it should be a fairly good install with minor issues.

ya good info but wrong intake. you have the ls2 my friend. i just finished my 408 with the 96mm LS1 intake and it is correct. the t in the back and the map in the back. you just have the wrong intake, but you might be able to do something that are correct. All i know is people talk **** about the typhoon but i started my car and had to make no fuel rail adjustment and the intake wasnt leaking air so fromk what i saw we were good. its a nice piece.
