need held buying headers

ok friends i am looking to buy some headers for my 98 t/a and i want to purchase the best ones i can get for the price and before i buy them im asking for everyones input i need some ideas guys thanks !!

I went with pacesetters are they turned out great.they were only 290 bucks. and hardly any fitment issues.

I just put Kooks stainless steel headers on my Firehawk and love them.

Same here, I did Kooks 1 7/8 race with off road y-pipe and Magnaflow cat back over the winter and the install was a breeze, fits great and tucks up nicely. Not exactly cheap but very nice. I know 1 7/8 is big for a stock LS1 but I have a bigger motor in the works and didnt want to buy headers twice

two routes to go, do you want stainless steel or not.
Pacesetters are good for ppl on a budget or not wanting to pay for SS.
Out of the SS ones, I have only heard good things about kooks and QTP. SLP are nice, but they hang low. I went with kooks bc I got a better deal on them at the time I purchased them.

ok thanks guys how much are the ss kooks and what do they run?? and does the finish have anything to do with performance or is it for looks? and do you suggets long tube or shorty i want these for performance

There is a thread about the SS ebay headers, they seem to be getting great feedback. i am tossed between pacesetters or ebay SS headers. I cant see spending all that money on headers, I would rather buy something like the pacesetters and spend the saved money on something that has a better $:hp ratio.
