Like mentioned above, there are pulleys whose purpose is to underdrive and there's true dampners. It's all a matter of what your purpose is. The Fluidampr is 10% underdriven, but does it's intended job much better.
Interesting. You have the same part number I have in the original post? By any chance do you have the belt size or part number you went with?

I'd have to look at the documentation for the pulley to get the part number. I went with a 1" shorter belt (78").
