Just ordered my headers
What is the easiest way to put on LT headers and get rid of the AIR and EGR. Heres what I have: LS6 manifold, coolant crossover tubes, pacesetter LTs, better header gaskets, pacesetter y-pipe, and a SLP loudmouth on the car already. What am i missing? O2 extentions? The AIR and EGR are going bye bye. Its a 99 Z28.
well I got it all in. It was a nightmare! The borla pipe was to long so I has to cut some. I wrestled with the ory for idk how long. Snapped a header bolt. The nuts and bolts they send for egr+air are a ******* joke! The header bolts they send are not even the right size. It was a total nightmare. I had to sawzal the stupid tab off the engine blah blah blah.
Anyway the headers are in but there is alot of adjustments to make. Idk how the missing header bolt is gonna effect anything. The banging and rattling is out of this world rediculous. Im kinda wishing I just bought some expensive headers now. The Dynatechs I installed on my 98 was heaven compaired to this pile of ****.
Ill get what few pics I could take posted in a while..........

yep thats one of the places its banging. I have to take care of the broken bolt in the heads before I fix the bangin issues lol so in other words the install in bassically gonna happen all over again because im havin a shop pull the heads so they can re-tap the holes. I want it done right and I dont want it to leak. Also im gonna have them ditch the band clamps and weld it for me.
So other than the problems that I had the car sounds much louder and meaner than the setup on my 98 car.
