Need Tach Help Asap Okay, first off the car is an 02 Z28. I got an tach with shift lite for xmas. I have the switched 12V, ground, and tach lines hooked up and spliced already. I just need to know where to find a connection to a light source. I mean theres a line that will turn on the light behind the tach at night time when the headlights are on. Where can I splice into this line?

i think u can splice it into the headlight on/off switch and the other line goes to the dimmer switch for the internal lights... i think thats where it may go but im not 100% sure

Yea I just took that off to look behind it and there are a bunch of wires. Theres brown and black, orage, gray and green coming out of the dimmer and the headlight switch.
There is only a green coming from the dimmer and both have brown. Black is obviously the ground wire. Im leaning towards brown since it is coming from both...I just want to make sure first.
