Want to rid myself of the Flomaster, need some help
I want to get rid of my flowmaster, I just dont like the sound while driving, at Idle it grumbles and I love it, but it sounds like a Honda Accord during acceleration. At WOT it sounds like a beast from hell, but WOT doesnt happen around too many people, cruising speed does.
What types of mufflers will fit the stock location, and how do they sound (in general) compared to a Flowmaster.
My current setup (in my sig) is:
Catless Bassani Y-pipe, 3" pipe into the muffler. I will make the outlet pipes whatever size they need to be to match the muffler.
Thanks!

Hey,
I had a flowmaster cat-back on my 1994 T/A. Now I have a Magnaflow cat-back on my 2002 T/A. I like the Magnaflow better. I can feel more of a SOTP feeling than the
Flowmaster. The sound is about the same to me and a Mustang friend of mine likes the Magnaflow better on my car than the Flowmaster on my old car.
Hope this helps. Get the Magnaflow muffler or Spintech makes mufflers, and so does SLP.

yeah, i'm another one for the Magnaflow. They are of outstanding quality and performance. The sounds are great with no rasp on a stock car. I got the muffler from hottexhaust.com when it was on sale, you might want to check it out. Got it for around 100bucks. Good luck, you'll like the Magnaflow.
Buy the way, Corsa does not make in a drop in muffler, with them its all or nothing...
