Default Annoying Rattle?

Hey guys got a annoying little problem here. I've got a 02 ws6 with Kooks/qtp headers with a high flow cat, slp y-pipe and borla exhaust. My problem is that i've got a rattling sound and can't for the life of me cure it. I was told it is where the headers meet the y-pipe and to just tighten the bolts and it helps but the rattle is still there just less. Is it my y-pipe or what? What can I do eventually i'm going to go to some exhaust specialist and fix it after my wedding in late may.

I had that on my car too. I put it on a lift today and found out it was in the passenger side cat. Seems like its everywhere with the echo.

I know its driving me crazy. I don't think its the cats because there gutted. I have heard that it might be my slp y-pipe heard that there really not the best. Great exhaust but was told my y-pipe needs to be different. It was problematic getting it in because of my driveshaft loop needed alot of playing with and wahsers for the driveshaft loop

I had the y-pipe rattle, but it's usually only under hard acceleration, usually only in first or second gear. Sounds like something banging the underside of my car. I took the cheap way and attached a piece of coolant hose to the pipe at the point it was coming in contact with the floorpan. I'm getting another rattle now, but only at certain rpms. I'm going to check my transmission mount, since the rattle sounds like it's coming from my center console.

Check your I-pipe to make sure it's not rubbing the underneath of your car. I've heard of the y getting moved over just a tad making it rub the passenger side underbody

Check the exhaust over the axle, it might be sitting on the panhard bar back there, mine was. Actually, just check the whole exhaust system, its probably hitting somewhere, just have to track it down.

Yeah its close in a lot of spots but once I move something/tighten it up another spot hits and rattles can't get away from it. Thanx for all your help.
