Odds/Ends questions & advise
First off, definatly get injectors before your tune. I made 446rwhp on my stock injectors and drove it like that for about 6 month. It ran fine, and the injectors handled the load, but were running at 104% duty cycle which isn't good at all. Eventually they would have taxed out and I ran the chance of running lean... Your target duty cycle should be somewhere around 80% duty cycle give or take. Your tuner when you dyno it will be able to tell you what your running at.
2nd... the lower the lb. rating on the injectors the easier it is to tune. However, you might also be limiting yourself. Are you done with your mods? 30lb. injectors will probably work fine for low 400-450rwhp area, but if you have any more mods in the future performance wise you might find yourself upgrading injectors again.
Personally I'm running the "F.A.S.T. 36lb. injectors"... They are great and do the job just fine. I'm running at 73% duty cycle. Nice and safe... Now, I don't wanna sound biased and tell you to get the FAST ones, but think about maybe going with an injector just a notch above 30lb. so you have room for additional mods if need be. The 36lb. injectors I have leave me room to go about 530rwhp which is plenty...
I'd like to say aim for a 12.8 A/F ratio... which is a tad on the rich side, but nice and safe.... I'm all about safety on the engine even if it sacrifices a little horsepower...
Who's tuning your car? Are they reputable? Do they normally tune LSX cars? This is an area where you want to make sure they know what they are doing. Otherwise you'll end up spending money twice by going to another guy to fix this guys mistakes. Or in a really bad case your motor could pay the price...
As far as sparkplugs go... some NGK TR55 plugs should work fine for you. Those seem to be the favorite tried and true on here so I see no reason to do anything different. Hope this helps, and keep us updated!
