im pretty sure that is not a mild cam.... depending on how mild you want to go like a 228r or a Tv2 would be a good cam. it depends on what you're looking for out of your car. The 110 lsa will make the powerband up higher and I think that thing has a pretty high lift. also will ahve to check PTV clearance. What else is done to your car? heads, intake, gears, A4 or M6... stuff like that. If you want mild though I would not get that.....

i have those in my car ... yea not real mild... higher powerband is hard to get used to myself..it was nuck and bucking around 1800-2200 in the process of tuning though.. mild would be more of a gm hotcam? imo

i also have full bolt ons and what not

my goal is to get decent gas milage on the highway like 24 to 25 if i get it.
or should i go wit a z06 cam i know someone for less than a 100 bucks or what would you reccomend my goal is maybee 400rwhp

do you have full exhaust? to be able to run that high lift of a cam you need a better set of heads. i'm really seeing that you know little to nothing about what you actually need in the way of a cam set up. a big cam doesn't equal big hp.

Well try like the 228r Cam, Ls6 intake, lid, and some Zo6 heads will get you at 400hp.
That cam is def. not what you need and with stock heads and LS1 intake it will probably run like ****. Also change the gears to 4:10's!!!!

for stock ls1 heads i wouldn't do anymore than a 228r. but i HIGHLY recommend doing ls6 heads. grab a cheap ls6 intake 85mm tb, 85mm MAF, 32-36 lb/hr injectors and have it all tuned with the heads and cam, you will be looking at 400+rwhp.

Yeah but you have the FAST intake w/ ported tb so it helps a little better. If you had some ported LS6 heads I bet that thing would kick.

That cam was designed to be an all out race cam on stock heads. IIRC it still holds the "cam only" record on here. Did for years anyway. It will require all bolt ons and a FAST IM to see it's potential. 4.11 or 4.56 gears if M6 or a 4400 or bigger stall A4. It will also need a GREAT tune or it will suck to drive.

It is good cam for it's intended purpose but if you are primarily a streetcar it is not for you.... A low 230's cam is a good tradeoff for a car that will be tracked some but is a DD'er.
