Default MTI throttle body

I was wondering on wether or not I should get the new MTI throttle body. Will it actually fit in comparison to my ls6 intake? MTI doesn't tell me the size, they just say it fits. If the intake manifold is not the same size as the tb it's not even worth it, right? I have not even worked with a throttle body ever with all the cars I had before. Help me out guys!!!

P.S. or should I just get my stock tb port and polished, I've heard on other sites that it doesn't even show any gain!!!

the mti TB will fit, its the same size as stock. now what gains over a S2/S3, bauer, or janetzer (sp) have yet to be seen from my knowledge. i'd put my money toward a s2/s3 or just port your own.

the mti tb is more for the bling bling crowd. I'd buy one if it weren't so damn expensive.

Its the same price as the cast aluminum BBK unit, and the BBK is not even nearly as nice. You really have to see an MTI t-body in person to appreciate it.

I know this is a stupid question but I'm going to ask it anyway. What is the s2/s3?

See I told you it was stupid.

I believe the S3 is more geared toward and internaly modified H/C motor. The S2 is more for the bolton crowd.

Thanks. I will be getting one in the future when I get the LS6 intake--the new intakes and tb's are going to be too expensive for me. I was just trying to plan it out a little!
