Rust isn't an issue for me here in NC it snows maybe once a year here and my car will spend the next winter in TX due to deployment so no rust in my near future. I just couldn't beat the price because they come with the ORY. My buddy runs black pacesetters and he has no rust issues yet but we will see. Still need to find a shop to tune out the AIR and O2 sensors though

If you have the revised version, I would think ground clearance would be fine...

Hey Mushroom, I had the SLPs on my SS and hated them...They came on the car and at stock ride height I scraped going over everything...I have pacesetters and now and my Z is lowered with the Eibach Prokit and I rarely scrape going over any bumps. Pacesetters are good and have a great price tag...the loss of power will be next to nothing if there is any and if there is, you won't notice it. My 98 with the same type bolt ons actually feels a little faster...

yea... let's blame it on the blue oval

I dunno... in my case the fuel rails, intake manifold, and LT's/ORY have been great performers... The throttle body they make could use improvement (apparently sort of a pain to tune), but I'm totally happy with the rest.
