Default Hooker ORY (sux) pix added
If you have a Hooker ORY you may want to look in the tailpipe at the junction where the two 3" pipes meet. The hole that is cut into the pipe where they merge is only about 1 1/2". The lazy bastard that is building them at the plant is cutting your exhaust flow from one head in HALF. I cut mine apart and fixed it myself. I called Hooker to inform them of the quality problems and they don't seem interested in hearing about it.


YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!

When MY computer gets fixed I will post up some pix.

Holy crap! That's crazy, it's weird that Hooker didn't care to hear about it.. Glad u got it fixed though! Thanks for the warning!

yeah...thats a horrible design. even when fixed. you should get rid of the entire exhaust from the merge back.

I will have to check mine out when I get it out of storage in a few weeks. Had it off my car half a dozen times and never noticed that. Hopefully mine is ok, mine is a few years old, so maybe that is a newer one? Something to add onto the list of bugs to fix, lol

THAT SUCKS !!! I almost ordered 1 for my hooker headers .Looks like Im going to get a TSP ORY instead . Thanks for the info .

That is crap!! I was wondering is Kooks was the best ORY...guess I'll lean towards TSP now with their revised ORY.

The Hooker catback is great, but I don't recommend their headers/ypipes to anyone.

pacesetter is just as bad...i had to cut mine oprn also the hole was only like 1 3/4 inch round...

almost 5min after i took mine out of the box i cut thar bitch open...
