LS1 starter on LM7?
LS1 starter on LM7? I bought my LM7 out of a salvage yard and they obviously pulled all the accessories. basically I was wondering if a LS1 F-body starter will work on my 02 LM7. I looked on some sites and they are listed under different part numbers but that may not mean anything. This is going in a 76 camaro just for reference. Thanks!
Yes, it will fit. Truck starters are slightly smaller than Fbody starters, so find one if you can. Dont worry about it if you cant
About the only OEM starter with clearance issues is the GTO starter. Its solenoid is clocked wierd and doesnt clear some headers. So a search on my name and check out my comparison photo thread
