removing EGR and AIR

removing EGR and AIR i am removing my EGR and AIR systems...i know that i need the 3 block off plates for the headers, but what can i use to block the hole in the top of the intake manifold where the EGR system was connected? This will only be temporary until i decide what type of intake manifold (FAST or LS6) i am going to get. Any suggestions?
I actually cut the metal tubing that comes out of the intake manifold, sealed that up, and used the stock plate that goes in there. Like said, it's just temporary (1 week for me).
The metal tubing sticks up like 2 inches and the stock egr valve is still in my ls1 intake. I put some jb weld on the end I cut off then clamped it shut. No leaks for me so far. This is only while I wait for my ls6 manifold to come in.

If i'm not mistaken, one of our sponsors sells EGR block off plates. I am not positive which one (which doesn't help much) but I know I have seen them for sale. Do a search for EGR block off or something similar. I bet you will find something...

Or if you wanted to go more stock appearing, GM has a block off that looks identical to the one for the egr but is sealed w/ no tube for trucks that came w/out egr... Part #12558346.. I think they're around $15.

DAMIAN...i got the block off plates for the headers(the EGR ans the AIR)...i didnt know that any of the sponsors carried one for the top of the intake manifold...like you said ill just have to do a search and see what i come up with...if that doesnt work ill try that one for the truck. Thanks for the info guys!
