Shorties hardly yield anything over the stock manifolds.

C'mon bud, you got the converter, I strongly suggest some mid - long tube headers I'll help you out with the install even.

Yeah I know. I want to stay smog legal so it's gonna either be Macs or LTs with the jet-hot catted Y. Thanks for the offer Evan. Let's plan on slapping em' on this spring. Got your eyes on a new Vette?

Yea Youll Be Good W\o A Tune Just Rich But If Ya Dont Tune You Should Get O2 Simms For The Rear Sensors Or You Could Face Problems In The Long Run But A Tune Will Help You Out Alot Belive Me Ive Seen The Difference Between Tuned And Untuned Yea I Know You Just Want Sound But Hell I Would Think You Want **** Running Right Too My Advice Is To Get A Predator And Cust Tune For It Just Save A Bit More But Whatever You Take Care Of The O2 Sensros Or You Will Probally Encounter Some Problems Down The Road

puncuation problems? lol took me a while to read that. thanks though. I do have a set of 02 simms cause i removed the cats with the bassani y pipe. just too lazy to install them, plus i was contemplating long tubes. I did the shorty header thing with my old mustang at first, its a waste of time and money. if im gonna do this i might as well do it right. Im gonna get a set of long tubes and run it with the off road y pipe to the hooker catback and 02 simms first, without a tune, see how it runs. if im only a little rich ill just stay because running a little rich with nitrous i've heard isn't necessarily a bad thing. haha plus ill have to save up for another few weeks afterwards to afford a tune up here in Va. plus i got some body work i gotta get done.

i have a set of Jet hot LT's with no tune. I also took the EGR system off to clean up the engine some. I havent had any problems whatsoever and I don't have a tune. Its always good to have a tune, but with just headers you will be ok. I believe you will run rich w/ headers and no cats(could be wrong). I use my car as a daily driver. I put a high flow billet muffler on it and it sounds pretty good...loud as hell at WOT and has a good idle...the cops here suck royal *** but they havent ticketed me for the noise...as long as u keep it below 3k u can get by im sure.....and best of all...the power is greeeaaatt and it keeps the engine bay looking nice...for your money headers are one of the best things you can get IMHO.

keep it below 3k rpms???? whats the fun in that.
if i put 2 high flow cats, baffles in the i pipe, along with a bullet style muffler then my hooker catback will it quiet it down just enough to drive daily? honestly im thinking about saying F it to the cops and go no cats long tubes and cut out just for ***** and giggles cause i hate these bastards around here, complete *********
