Default LS6 intake install - change Knock sensors?

I was just curious if most of you guys that have done an LS6 intake swap also changed ur knock sensors at the same time?
My 2000 TA has 56k miles and I am not sure if I should change the knock sensors or would it be a waste of money. They are currently perfectly fine - no codes.

Don't change them unless the are bad. I would put silicone around the rubber boots that cover them, that will help prevent water getting in there.

When installing the LS6 intake, make sure you don't get the harness pinched between the manifold and the head.

I had mine out when I upgraded to the LS6 Intake and Valley Cover last Fall, but I didn't replace them.

My Firebird has just under 50k on the clock, so I figured they'd be fine.

I did, however, be sure to reinstall them in the same spots I had taken them from. I don't suppose it would have made any difference if I hadn't, but just wanted to be extra cautious.
