I like to think of the setup as the setup for those of us who don't wear skirts. I loooooove it. I'll take a video of mine soon. It is kind of ugly down low, but I like the tone above 3k...and thank you Midwest for giving me that RPM range most of the time!

I have that setup...it's damn loud. When the car is cold and your in the 2000rpm and 2400rpm you get the "wap" "wap" "wap" sound. Not pretty, but once the car is at operating temp it sounds great. At WOT you better think about getting some hearing aids......it's insane.

 

Your car just sounds so TOTALLY PISSED OFF when it's cold, always puts a smile on my face.

 

i love the sound my car makes in the morning.

i opened the garage door one time and started the car with the back pointing out....a little girl who was walking her dog down the street in front of my house literally screamed and ran, dragging the poor dog by the neck.....not kidding.....

this setup definitely sounds like a racecar!!! its annoying at times but i love it when the people at the light next to me look at me like i have 5 heads.....

i have hooker lt's/y-pipe out loudmouth and it is INSANE loud! it might just be because i have a decent size cam and 5.3 heads that are milled a bit so my compression is a little higher. All i can say though is well LOUD, it's bad *** at first but it sucks trying to get races with your car sounding like that though. i'm going back with a stock catback and cutout/electric opener, as soon as i put my car back together.

 

I have the same Hooker LT's ORY and LOUD Mouth. It screemssss. has anyone had this set up and swaped the loud mouth resonator out with a Bullet race muffler...

Amazes me how sensitive everyone's ears are, it's not that bad.

 

exactly....i only notice it when i want to.... It definitely has that ANGRY, PISSED OFF sound though...
