Default Plugs and Wires

i am going to be changing out my plugs and wires soon on my 2000 ws6 and wanting to know what everyone recommends. i have just heard about the MSD 8.5mm wires which im going to get and these plugs. http://www.jegs.com/i/NGK+Spark+Plugs/739/TR55/10002/-1 Is this what i need to get?

looks good to me. theres a couple guys in the classifieds who are selling there plugs for 20 bucks shipped or something like that, jegs is expensive.. also theres someone else in the classifieds who has a set of wires and plugs for like 60 shipped all combined! pretty good deal, you should hurry! lol

Only problem with those plugs is that your going to have to change them relatively often. They're just a standard copper plug, so you're not going to get anywhere near the mileage out of them that you would with iridiums.

I went with delco iridiums and msd wires when I did mine, reason being the plugs are a kind of a PITA to change and I don't want to have to do it any more than necessary.

i just changed my plugs today and went with NGK TR-5IX irideum or what ever LOL no wires yet but yes the the MSD wires ar ethe way to go

We have them as well and you don't have to pay the $12 handling fee that Jeg's charges to box up a set of plugs and wires. We can have them out the same day as well! We have the MSD wires and both standard NGK plugs and iridium plugs on the shelf and ready to go!

Sounds good Jon. This is a job I need to do too. Ten years on my first set of plugs is probably long enough!

I can tell you without a doubt to go with autolite AR3933 plugs and stock wires are fine...car will pick up with those plugs guarantied..gap at .035 to .040
