Default Camaro Volant Cold Air Intake any good??

Right now I have the SLP lid and the ram air mod, but looking into the Volant open intake 'cause the SLP lid rubs the underside of SS hood. And no matter what I do or told how to do, it still rubs. I even tried sanding down the lid but still nothing. So I wanna fix that rubbing problem but not go back to stock. I believe that using the Volant, I'll no longer have the ram air mod, I think. It also seems like I'll have 1/2 the hp of the SLP lid and ram air mod combo.
Any who, is the Volant any good?? Thanks.

You won't gain any power but it should fix your rubbing problems. I am pretty sure there are lids that will clear too if you shop around...

Volant's fit/finish is pretty much crap, and as stated above you won't gain anything HP wise over a normal lid.

As a matter of fact, I've seen the Volant slow non-WS6 cars down (cars that don't have true ram air).
