Anyone tried one yet? Just ordered mine and was wanting to see if anyone had results yet?

They haven't hit yet. The first shipment should be out within the next few weeks -- till then its all rumors. I have the small TB version on order for my new heads/cam setup and I will have it on the day it comes in, and tuned shortly afterward.

Just ordered? Welcome to the waiting list! Depending on the first production run, you might be waiting a while. You have 3 months of people in front of you! Everyone has there performance speculations, but everything is just here say for now.

I know it will be a while before I buy one. $8XX for a new intake when I already have a stock LS6 intake is hard to justify. Now if my car had come with a LS1 manifold then I would go directly to the LSX (only $3XX difference).

If you indeed wanted one, you should have gotten in on the heavily discounted pricing for the first round of intakes and sold your LS6 at top dollar as they are going to be worth nothing in a few months IF the LSX pans out.

i dont see why people are so quick to drop 800 bucks before seeing any independent results

its not like if they wait till after results then there wont be any intakes to buy.

I was hoping to see some results with these but I guess noone has one yet. I would like to see a 10-12 rwhp on my setup. I have the Vararam on the car so it should get plenty of air to make it worthy.

The only reason people are jumping on them before any testing is done is because before they were released, there were some pretty good deals that most of the sponsors were offering. If had been normal price there is no way I would have tried one.

i would love to try one, but i just don't believe the hype. They claim 20 hp over the ls6. So if I swap my LS1 intake for an LSX intake I will get~35hp. Thats no very realistic. A REAL 35hp increase is gonna cost alot more than 800.00.

But there is always hope.

I sincerely hope that this intake pans out. I have seen one in person, and it does look like a great piece.

However, I agree, that it doesn't make sence for so many people to rush out & get one before knowing if it will produce signifcant gains.

On the horizon, we have the LSX intake, GMPP intake, the AFR heads, and just to throw a wrench into things, at the end of the year GM will be releasing the LS2 engine, which is written to have 30% better breathing capabilities, through newly designed heads, or intake.

I'm excited to see the new products coming along, & hope that some of them result in significant gains for all of us.

I'll hold off on some of these, until they become proven. I'd rather spend a few extra $$ on something proven as opposed to spending just to find out that I didn't gain much, if anything.

Hopefully those numbers hold up. I've heard they haven't been as high as they thought they would be.
