How much HP loss?

I'm probably going to get some Pacesetter long tubes and I have to keep the cats on. How much hp/trq. loss should i have keeping the cats on vs. having and off road y pipe?

With your car only being a bolt on car you shouldn't lose much. Probably around 5hp. or so. The more heavely modded you get though the more the cats will cost you power.

not much, specially with some nice high flow cats. people seem to forget that cats also decrease rasp, help with fumes, quite down your exhuast a bit. on a daily driver thats worth the few hp you loose by going with them

Eh, not really true. People like to believe that cats are these huge horsepower robbing devils. With todays high flow designs they really aren't robbing power. I watched a heavily modded LS1 with true duals do back to back runs with cats and without. A total difference of 2 RWHP. Not enough to feel, not enough to hurt you.

Now each car will responded differently, but cats aren't a big deal.
