Borla Adjustable Plates

Who all generally runs the wide open or adds one of the plates to make the sound difference. Who likes the plates smaller and why?

when i had borla mine was wide open. What's the point in restricting the best flowing exhaust on the market? Kinda a waste of money don't ya think?

I originally had mine with the 3/4 plate, switched to the open plate and have been running it for years. I just did a H&C and am considering going back to the 3/4 plate to quiet it down just a tad...that is, unless anyone knows how much hp it loses

DMH makes a cutout that fits where the adjustablw plate goes, and you adjust the noise inside the car with a switch. I have one and I am sure there is a lot more people on here that have it set up that way. Hope that helps.
