car ideling rough ..

car ideling rough .. i need to chack a code my car is throwing... i only took off the valve covers and that is all... and when i put them back on and the car is ideling rough like a spark plug isnt pluged in... but i have reset the ses light and redone every wire about 6 times and it is still doing it!!! could it be something else besides that???can i check it on my hpp3 or what?? the only place that does it by me is about 20 min away and dont want to mess up the car!!! thanks

the spark plug itself?? the weird thing is i just took them off and put them on another car for about 3-4 days and when i went to put them back on.. it is doin that crap???
