Default subframe connector question

hey guys i just got my subframe connectors welded in at a local shop... what a great differance.. definatly wortht he money but i have one question... the guy at the shop just welded the front parts of the subframes to the frame but he just bolted the back up to the lower contral arm bracket. was the back parts supposed to be welded up or just have that one bolt in there?

A lot of SFC's are designed like that. I think the BMR's are the same way. Bolting them up is fine. It's slightly "better" to weld them in all 4 spots, but bolting them will work fine...

yuea well they where the weld in connectors... but they just used the bolt in the back to bolt it to the rear control arm bracket... and then they welded the fronts... next time i have the car up in the air ill just do a couple tack welds on the back part

I'd run a few small beads on the back too. Welding is stronger than bolting.

Speed Inc. did mine and welded at all four points.
Gotta Love 'em!
