Default ls1/ls7 friendly mods.

i recently got a nice steady amount of cash coming in,
and have been pestering you guys for years about mods.
i had it all planned out,
but now theres an ls7 coming soon!

i want to get all the mods i planned out,
but none that arent transferrable to the ls7.
oops. forgot to ask..
can i even swap an ls7 into my 98 ta?

please let me know if the swap is possible,
and then which mods i should steer clear of.
i.e. ls1 headers will will/not work on ls7,
ls6 intake will not work..

what should i get for sure?

the ls7 is the 3 valve setup, the ls2 will be more compatable with the ls1, still wait for more info. dont plan you mods around the ls2/ls7. you have an ls1 so concentrate on that.

I'd wait for the LS2 info that should be out in a few months. It should be a lot cheaper than the aftermarket parts, and will probably show more power since there is a much bigger budget for R&D; this only applies to the heads, intake manifold, and throttle body.

if i plan around an ls7,
and find out it is compatible,
i can then get it without having to sell old ls1 heads and cam and other things that are not compatible.

sure i can bore/stroke to 6.0/6.6,
but with the new tech,
i would save a bit of gas, right?
is it still planned to be variable cam phasing and displacement on demand?

from honda civic to C5-ARRRRRRRR!!!
