Race headers in IL
Race headers in IL Was going to order some Pacesetter LT's no EGR/AIR. Has anyone ran into problems with emissions in IL? I have some exhaust work already and they just plug the sensor under the dash and dont pop the hood or look under for cats.

I'm about two hours south of Chicago and they don't give a **** down here... But I hear Chicago can be hit or miss...

A couple shops around here will erase the codes for you for like 50$. Or just buy hptuners credits and be done with it. There's nothing better than pulling into the emissions place, making every ones eyes burn from raw fuel coming out of the exhaust, then passing. It's like slapping the Secretary of State right in the face.

Yep just got my car tested two weeks ago. Pulled in they hooked up the obd, then complained about the smell of gas and two minuted later handed my the sheet that says passed on it. This is with kooks 1 3/4 ory and magnaflow. Also a pretty tall cam as well. I dont even worry about it anymore. As long as your cars tuned your good to go!!!!
