Default Bauer tb

I don't know if any of you guys have the bauer throttle body, but their website says it has an adjustible throttle stop. Not sure I should be messing with something like that. I'm kind of worried about that!!! I really don't want to **** any thing up. I might then just buy the MTI tb. What do you guys think?

Bret adds the adjustable wide open throttle set screw stop so that the blade can be set as close to 90 degrees for most flow without setting a code. In most cases his setting is very close to the max, but you can adjust it if you wish (and know what you are doing. ) It's better than grinding on the full throttle stop, going too far (setting a code), and then having to put metal back on.

I'm very pleased with my bauer TB. Great mod for the money. Where it was set when I got it looked good enough to me, so I didn't mess with the throttle stop.

When i got my Bauer TB i just cleaned it up and bolted it on. The throttle blade was already set to open at 90 degrees so their was no need to mess around with it. Bret has good service and does a very nice job on the units.

I've run my Bauer for about a year now with 0 problems. Bret does a really nice job with these and the adjustable throttle stop is great. I would much rather have a little screw to adjust the throttle stop than start grinding on the casting.

I have an Bauer polished and red powercoated throttlebody. It's an quailty work and the throttle stop I set to was not to exceed 4.8V otherwise an SES light will be set.
4.8V is the maximum the PCM reads for 100% throttle opening.

According to GM it's supposed to be .5v.

Bret's work is top notch and his service is very professional.

Bauer puts out a great product with some of the best customer service I have experienced in the aftermarket parts industry. Deal with Bret in total confidence.

I have had my Bauer TB for over a year and have had no problems with it. I sent my old TB to Bret and got the ported/powdercoated TB back in less than a week. Bret's work is excellent and he is very professional!

Right now we are a bit busy, I have some TB's in and a few LT1 race motors going out.

Good thing is it's the slow season and peoples cars are down so guys don't have to run their cars.

Also I have some FAST LSX intakes in, the 78mm are called for but I have a few 90mm ones that I will let go for $825.

Bret
