I wonder what these intakes will do at the track with air being pushed in with ram air setups. Will they then breath better? As of now , the TPIS intakes are kicking the FAST int. ***

you are not getting a TNT power ring on a 90mm TB..... think about it

We are going to test a ls6 heads cam car, add Fast intake and then bolt on the 85mm maf & lid setup to see if that helps to provide more power. I really would like to try a tpis intake also...

I hope you plan on tuning the MAF in. I lost power when I bolted up your 85mm induction kit with no tuning. I will put it back on when I get the car dyno tuned.
As for the power coupler, I know it won't go on the 90mm TB. I was saying that if I were to make an adapter for the stock TB to fit on the 90mm LSX intake, there would not be enough room. On the other hand, I need to contact TNT and see if they will make a 90mm coupler.

Yeah, Harlan has a 90mm PRO-M MAF.

It'd be nice if we could go with a mass air density program instead of a mass airflow config.

Actually you can. I watched a popular tuner do it yesterday. He tuned out the MAF and made my friends 98 TA stroker speed density. The car picked up 20 rwhp in some places over the previous dyno tune. He was still using a 75mm lid and stock TB, so when he gets his 90mm TB/intake/85mm lid, the gains should increase signifigantly.

I'll be severly pissed, since I was told the stock throttle body WOULD bolt up. Not to mention you need a 90mm throttle body gasket.
You should give that vendor a call. It was pretty common knowledge amount vendors that the stock TB wouldn't bolt up to the 90mm intake. The 90 is also only recommended for stroker motors.

Beasty, where did this Tuner hook up a speed density sensor and how would it hook up to the PCM? Just curious.

The MAP sensor is on the back of the intake already. Not sure how the PCM uses the data from it compared to the MAF.
