Default Installing mechanical oil psi gauge

I got tired of my stock guage pissing me off and acting up on me and ordered a mechanical autometer gauge just so that i know 100% for sure whats going in my motor. The only problem is i dont know where to put the sending in to the motor to get a reading. I know that i need an oil galley plug, but i have no idea where they are, and how to get the plug out/sending unit in.

I also got an electronic fuel psi, but ive put those in before off the end of the rail, so im not too worried about that one.

Pictures, details, anything would be of help

Pull the stock oil pressure sending unit out and get Autometer part # 2268. Once you got it just install the oil pressure gauge like normal

I've got mine like this and haven't had any issues

I use the glow shift thing the only thing i dont like about is it lowers your filter a little ways... I also suggest you swap the plastic line that came with your guage out for a copper one, the plastic line kinks easy and i had one burst on a jeep i use to own so from now on i make it a point to use the copper lines instead lol

Sounds like the glowshift adapter would be good for you, it fits in between your oil filter and block it will lower your oil filter about 3/4- 1" but the only time i have had problems is when i had to drive my camaro in the snow, the harder deeper snow dented the filter a little bit.
