The Spintechs are too loud imho, for DD, but if it's mosty a track car then I like em.

For DD, I like the Dynomax much better. Smoother sound and not as raspy.

Yeah, I agree. But I'm not going for the Super Pro Streets, or even the Pro Streets. Looking at their Sportsman model, which are the ones that are made for street cars.

weather was about as far apart as you could get. plus I changed tires from the video of the bullets(4.86 gear, 26") to a 28" slick. was tired of the ol 6.0L going through the traps at 7900 on a good day. so I went 28" tire, and the weather got warmer and slowed the car down a bunch, along with a few other changes(being as I was running stick shift points) that will show a slower car with spintechs.

now said car in back to the street with a 10 bolt and a TSP y pipe and a hooker catback with a cutout. LOL

so much damn exhaust work!

Thanks man.

I just hope I made the right choice on mine. I'm not going to race the car, just a weekend street beast/car show/cruise in type deal. Its a 66 Nova, valved job on the heads from FlowTech Induction, Streetsweeper cam, 4L60e, 3.73 on a 25.7 tire. I went with the Sportsmans from Spintech. Love their sound.

I don't think I'll have much to worry about. I doubt I'm going to be flowing near capacity of those mufflers anyways. But again, even if I'm not, a poorly flowing muffler will hurt any car. Its tough to find the perfect balance of sound and power.

1 3/4" headers, 3" collectors, 3" X-pipe, 3" into mufflers, 2.5" out through tailpipes that exit behind tires.
