ovalized exhaust pipe
ovalized exhaust pipe i just got a set of lt's and i am wanting to get td's, texas speeds rumbler set up is what i have in mind, but my car is lowered so i am looking into ovalized exhaust td set up. does anyone know of a company that sells a td/x pipe kit for the 4th gen f body in ovalized pipe? or will going ovalized be a custom set up. im wanting ovalized ground clearance mainly. heres a pic of my car
There IS a company and you don't really hear of it that often, but it is kind of pricey.

overall I think it turned out pretty good, most of the fit work was done pc by pc and then I had to take each pc to work and press the pipe to get the ovaled effect, then take it back and refit then I taped the pipes together and took the pcs to a buddies house to tack weld them together. I finally gave up and tailored the car to my buddies house for the final fit and welding but I could have got things to fit a little bit better if I would have taken the car to his house from the start.
Spintech makes a full oval pipe X setup. I believe it was a universal deal, but they were proud of it... hundreds more than texas speeds setup. Spintech makes lots of oval inlet/exit mufflers with a case thats only 3" tall. I doubt they flow well (not because of the pipe... but because its a spintech 
) Borla makes a 3.5" inlet oval pipe muffler, as well as flowmaster. They're all outrageously expensive for one muffler. Most of the oval pipe on race cars comes from the circle track world. Spintech might be the cheapest on the muffler, but the oval piping is crazy espensive.
If you can fab up your own stuff, then boyce industries has about the cheapest oval pipe on the market.
