Idle speed LS1?? I have a 04LS1 gto on my 73 camaro.. just did my first start...
.. what should be the idle speed when first star (cold) and them when it is hot? how much time in between? .. juts put all the coolant in it, (i guees all air is out) the engine is stock internals, just have pacesetter LT, K&N cool air induction and reprogram ecu.

Mine runs around 1k cold, then drops to 700-800 range when up to temp, I have a handheld also, so I have played with the idle some, because the owner before dropped the idle down to 500, and I didnt like it, would bog too much, so I adjusted it, but if you have the ac in still, and you run it with it on, look at it idleing about 100ish more because of the extra load.
