Default True duals gains

I was wondering if it would be worth it to switch to a true dual setup on my car since im getting sick of uncapping my cut-out. What should I expect to gain from the tsp rumbler x setup? BTW a section of my I-pipe is the stock 2.75 inch piping Im not sure how much its hurting me just figured Id throw that in there.

I really want to get the true duals also. Not only should you get better flow and hp with them, but you can get rid of alot of weight by taking the 60 lb catback exhaust off when you install the duals! Have you seen the lpp true duals though? They are the same as the tsp only they are stainless steel and are about $60 less.

How do you make more power with a catback system?

It would depend on what kinda duals he had on the car. There is alot more to exhaust then just throwing big pipes together. Pipe diameter, bends, etc. are all going to effect the way the exhaust performs. So I could see a "homebuilt" dual system would be outperformed by a catback setup by a company that spends all the money for R&D to achieve max flow and HP. And with the exception of flowmaster the all the catbacks for LS1's flow extremely well and even with quality built TD systems the HP difference is not that noticeable, many just switch for the sound.

The same principle can be seen with headers. Everyone doesn't get 1 7/8 headers for a reason.

I did some reading and Im starting to get the feeling that having a piece of the stock 2.75 inch i-pipe in there still may be holding me back some. What do you guys think?

Ya no one ever reply's that they received the item in good condition do they smart *** I may be slow at shipping but Ive never ripped anyone off. Heres the tracking 0309 1830 0001 3750 9689 BTW I told him I hadn't shipped the item on time he was offered as refund at that time it he said no. It wasn't till after it was shipped that he asked for the refund and at that time since I was shipped I didn't give him one. Either way this thread has nothing to do with that so keep your smart *** comments to yourself if you have nothing to say of any value.

Nevermind, none of my business. But back to the question.. I have true duals and I love em. I had a Y-pipe, but I never put it on cause I kept hearing nothing but good about true duals. So I really can't give any info on the Y.

Yes that why I said AFTER people get the item in good condition they never bother to go back and say so at that point they don't care. Theres two neg feedback one I took to long to ship it Im not saying I didn't but he got his lights in good condition and was offered a refund. The other one I broke a headlight before they where shipped and I told the buyer and told him I was sending him a refund. I sent the refund and paypal didn't deposit into his account I had to call them a month or so later and stay on the phone for an hour to fix it. That was not my fault I sent his refund when I broke the light paypal made the mistake not me but yet I get the bad feedback for it.

Also Ive sold alot more stuff on tech then just those four things I never bother to make people give me feedback so only that people I've pissed off bother to leave it oh well

Anyways back to the true duals. What should I gain from them considering my current setup has a 2.75inch I-pipe?

Both of them were built by a guy here locally here in DFW. I have already sold the y-pipe to another member, and the duals are on my car.
