I agree. There was a pic floating around here a few days ago. I'll see if I can find it. I bought the Spohn TA for headers. My X will be placed in the dip and run to the passenger side, then dumped at the axle.

Here is what I was talking about and what I plan to have Lane's build for me. These are Mgnaflow round series.

Did you have to beat on your passenger rear set hump? It looks like the clearance is pretty close.

Looks to me like they did. Many people do it to fit full-sized mufflers back there, and supposedly since it's all covered by the cushion you can't tell from the inside.

That's if you have interior and carpet.

You could also replace those dips in the floor with pieces of flat stock if you have the means.

I built the system in the first pic - and I've built ones similar to the second pic. With the first system I agonized for hours trying to get both 3" pipes to run down the passenger side of the DS, but there just wasn't enough room - and finally punted and went around the drivers side TA mount... The customer did have to rearrange some of his fuel system afterwards. And yes - it's not exactly 'traditional' looking, but it performed well!

And you do have to 'clearance' under the passenger rear seat cushion if you want to run a set-up similar to the second pic. A small sledge works well. It's either that or drag your mufflers off somewhere...

My advice if you want a stronger TA: Get the Yank crossmember that has an adjustable mount on the crossmember - not the tranny. And it also has a DS loop you can add to it. Then get a Random Tech TA - I had one and was very happy with it.

You'll have a near bullet-proof, triple adjustable, set-up and the ability to run any exhaust you want.

Is that extremely loud with the Magnaflow round series?

The Magnapaks sound very similar to regular bullets, but just a little quieter and deeper - and yes, can be loud depending on mods.

I've built them around the 'Extreme Trak Pak', but it had been mounted into the floor-board some - tucking it up more, which was really sweet. Gave me enough room to do a 3.5" TD system even - and clearance was great.

Lane, out of the first pic posted, then the one I posted, which do you think would be better? I had sent you the pic I posted before to see if you could do that, but if there is no problems with going around the TA like the first pic, then that seems like it would be the way to go as far as clearence is concerned.

If you want a full 3" system, I would recommend the way of the first pic. If reducing to 2.5" after the X isn't a problem, than the 2nd pic style would be the way to go.

Overall ground clearance is much better with the 2nd pic system if 'clearancing' the floorboard isn't an issue. Floor-board clearance is actually better in the first pic though. It's a give and take.

Lane,

Do you know if they are still making this piece? They don't list it on their site anymore...I should probably call and ask myself, but it you know off hand, it could save me some time.

Lane, do you have to build these systems to the car, or is this something that I could call you ad order? I have a QTP Y pipe now, and had to shim down the mount for the spohn tq arm, and now it occasionally bottoms out if I'm not careful. I wanna get the spacers outta there, but the 4 inch collercor that come with teh qtp y sits right in the spot where the mount is. Whatever I do, I gotta run a set of cats in it too, unfortunately because of CT's emmissions. Let me know, thanks.

I don't really want to answer for him, but that wouldn't be something that could just be ordered over the phone IMO.
